June Challenge

Winter is upon us here in Australia.
Time for some scrapping to warm us up or in the case of the Northern Hemisphere, to keep out of the heat.
Our winner for May, after much deliberation, is Sue Smith from NEW ZEALAND.
Our Guest DT for July is Mandy Gilbert from New York.

### Before I tell you about this month's challenge, please, if you are linking your item, specify your country and name. We had a couple last month that linked to flicker with no details, so we didn't know who or where you were.

So, here is JUNE's Challenge.
Flower of Life's photo.

Lots of colour in there! And the criteria............Anything goes.  ,
You can make a card, layout, tag etc  whatever this picture inspires you to make.

First sponsor:

Our generous sponsor this month is Melissa Shanhun at Digital Scrapbooking HQ, a purveyor of video classes for digitally organizing your photos, improving & enhancing your photos (from absolute beginners to advanced), text tips, adding memorabilia to a digital page, creating photobooks & other papercrafting keepsakes & gifts, Photoshop Elements classes, and ebooks, templates & word art. A class of your choice is offered!

Second sponsor:

The amazingly talented Dani Leonetti at ScrapperontheStreet.com has donated her ebook: Insta-Living! - aimed to help you take back life’s little moments – those moments that get lost in the shuffle. These moments may seem insignificant but they tell a lot about who you are! The hope is that the prompts will change the way you look at the world around you – YOUR world! You can use these prompts over and over finding new and creative ways to capture your life and document it while in the moment.  Dani also runs seasonal Insta classes so be sure to follow her blog to be kept in the loop.

Now let's see what our ladies have made.
Firstly our Guest DT Debi Clarke

I choose to use the wall patterns as inspiration for my background masking & spraying & inking, with splats of bright colours to enhance the photos, along with circular misting, stamping & machine stitching as well.
                                                                     TRISH
This stained glass window card  reminds me of the gorgeous building in Tuscany,I haven't put a greeting on it as I am not sure what I will use it for yet.

                                                       REGINA

Regina Chandler's photo.
I wanted to reflect the old world charm of the image, as well as to blend in the rainbow colours of the beautiful vaulted ceiling. The photo is of my great Aunt, circa 1913.

                                                     MAGGIE

I took inspiration from the title; colours; circles and swirls in the photograph

If you looked at this post yesterday I'm sorry it was incomplete.
A combination of computer issues and missing winners.
