January 2022 Challenge

For our JANUARY CHALLENGE I've chosen an elegant long hallway from Elle Design.

Can you imagine living there? Wouldn't it be lovely?

Your criteria this month is to use SILVER AND GOLD.

Here's a chance to whip out those metallic elements you've been saving and if you are like me, slightly frightened to use.

Maybe there's a special occasion coming up you need a card for or maybe you have wedding photos that need to be scrapped.

I've seen silver and gold corrugated cardstock and shiny papers out there in stores.

Here's the link to enter on Facebook. Facebook

Our ladies have put their thinking caps on and come up with some good ideas.

December Challenge

Our challenge this month is inspired by this  Futuro House.

Where are Futuro houses located in Australia? | Herald Sun. While it isn't exactly architecture, it is something to live in.

Either do something about space or use the word " future " on your item.

As yet we have no sponsor but a package of scrapbook items will be given to the winner.

Our winner for November is Sharon Bishop and may I say, it is lovely to see so many entries.

The Design Team have been busy whipping up examples for you.

November challenge

The November challenge was inspired by the floor of this cathedral. This is Notre Dame in Paris (before the fire obviously). I was lucky enough to go there and it was truly remarkable.

We want you to USE GINGHAM (or a small check pattern) on your creations!

We are sponsored this month by Craft Queen. Please support her if you can.

She has wonderful buttons, ribbons, sequins and other papercraft items.

October Challenge

For out theme this month we are using a sketch instead of a picture

It was the December 2014 sketch from "Stick it Down". Stick it Down: Tuesday Sketch Challenge

The sketch was designed by Brenshevia

I tried to contact her, but with no answer so I'm hoping it will be okay to use it.

Our winner for last month was Debra Beer

We are sponsored this month by Autumn Lane who make the most adorable scrapbooking flowers.

Our winner for last month was Karen Brierley with a special mention for Liz Hocking.

There will be a purple prize pack this month for our September winner.

Here's what our lovely design team ladies have created.

August challenge

The August challenge is based around this picture.

We want you to use concentric archways.

Yes it sounds a bit tricky, but isn't really once you get the first arch established.
This might help

Your archways should look rounded, but can have fancy corners such as those in the die cut picture.

Our Design Team have come up with some ideas to help you.
