June Challenge

Our June challenge marks halfway through another year. Where did that time go!

The winner for May was Tracey B.

Now here's your picture

It is Trinity College Library in Dublin. And being a librarian myself I adored it! It had that wonderful smell of old books and those shelves were so high and chock full of old books.
The most famous book there is the Book of Kells which was made in the 1400s and features beautiful gold writing.

*******************************************************************************

Ok enough rambling, your challenge this month is to use book paper or library pockets or both.

We are sponsored by me! I will select a bundle of goodies for the winner.

Here's what the design team have come up with.

                                                            BUFFY

BARB

TRISH

                                                                         DALE

MITZI

JULENE

                                                                  LESLIE
Book-shaped box, library card lists year & where I've ever lived, tags have photo & address plus dates & schools attended (still researching some old addresses & pics)

*****************************************

I think this is a relatively easy one so hope to see lots of entries this month. Maybe you can do a shabby chic project or an off the page item. We'd love to see your work.

  1. Looking forward to giving this challenge a go. I scrapped from 2000-2010, and have just started up again. I am slowly accumulating a stash after selling or gifting an extensive collection years ago. I think this kind of challenge blog is brilliant, so interesting! We holidayed in Melbourne last year & went on an Architecture tour of the city, which was wonderful. I have moved house and decluttered many times in the last 9 years, so a library envelope is not something I have, but I have some old books, and am not opposed to excursioning to Vinnies to see what books they have that I could use! Thanks for the great blog!
